Many people ask me \u201cwhat is the difference between 24\/7 care and Live-in care?\u201d \u00a0There is a large cost difference and it is important to know your options. 24\/7 care is provided for people that need care and monitoring 24 hours per day. The caregiver assigned the client must be alert and ready to give care at all times. Many times this type of care is necessary if the client wakes up many times per night to use the restroom, walk the house or needs to be turned as not to get bed sores. This type of care can cost between 500 and 600 per day.<\/p>\n

Live In Care<\/u><\/strong> is also provided for people that need a caregiver in the home around the clock. The difference being that with live in care there is the expectation that the caregiver can sleep eight hours at night. The caregiver works during the day and sleeps in a designated room at night and is in the house in case of emergence or the rare times when the client needs to use the restroom etc. The client is charge for 16 hours of daily care and we do not charge for the evenings unless the caregiver is awake and\u00a0working. \u00a0For these services we charge 340.00 per day, this is great savings over 24\/7 care.
